It is an honor to represent the people of Wake County in the North Carolina House. I look forward to continuing to make North Carolina an even more desirable place to live, work, and do business. Your support and vote in the November election will allow me to keep working on these vital issues.
Jobs & the Economy
North Carolina is consistently ranked as one of the best places to do business in the United States. However, we face the challenge of recovering from a global recession while transitioning from a traditional manufacturing economy to a 21st century skills economy.
Education
Education is the key to preparing residents for the changing economy. Great schools, community colleges and universities are critical for North Carolina to have a well-educated, highly skilled workforce that can compete in the 21st century.
Quality of Life
Quality healthcare, environmental stewardship, consumer protection and open government are critical to our quality of life. I will continue to promote these policy goals to make North Carolina an even better place to live.
